Common Questions

How much do you charge?
– The fee for a typical session is $150. Exceptions can be made based on personal circumstances.

Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance, however, for clients who have coverage, I’m happy to provide the necessary paperwork needed to file claims.

How long is a typical session?
-A typical appointment lasts for approximately 50 minutes. I also offer extended sessions ranging from 2-4 hours depending on your needs.

How do I book an appointment?
– I see clients on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the hours of 8am and 8pm. If you’d like to book an appointment you can call me at 949.246.4918 or email me.

What is your cancellation policy?
– Due to my full client schedule, it is important for you to notify me as soon as you know you are unable to attend an appointment. Clients are financially responsible for missed appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

How do I know you will be a good fit for me?
– Finding the right fit with a therapist is a very important step. I welcome your questions by phone or email before your first appointment or during your ongoing treatment.

How do I know if I need counseling?
– At a point in most everyone’s life, counseling can make a positive difference. Common times to seek therapy include life transitions, relationship struggles, family challenges, and feelings of depression and anxiety.

How long will I need to see you?
– Every client and situation is unique. Some clients find as little as three sessions helpful, others see me for extended periods of time. We will continually evaluate your situation to make sure you’re finding value in our time together.

My partner won’t come to counseling. What now?
This is a common occurrence. It is my belief that individual therapy can still greatly impact a marriage or relationship. I have also found that after the non-participating partner begins to see positive results, he or she often becomes more willing to participate.
